Mephistopholes is a figure in german folklore and the main antagonist in Faust.
The print is intentionally washed and faded in order to match the blank it is on. The blank is a heavily faded 1950s/60s 50/50 sweatshirt. I found it without tags, but I have a hunch it may be a champion running man based on the wash, measurements, and stiching, just a hunch though.
